Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), islands top fixed access telco said its Malaysian shareholder Global Telecomunications Holdings NV, a unit of Malaysia's Usaha Tegas Group (UT) had appointed new directors after NTT Communications of Japan sold out its 35% stake to UT Group and then UT Group upped its stake to 44.9% following a buyout of other shareholders inorder to appoint the directors.
